  Gauge is a term for measurement. PLEASE stop referring to stretched lobes as gauges. If you already have your ears pierced then it doesn’t matter how old you are. You just start stretching yourself with tapers. If you have standard earrings, they are probably 18g right now. So you would need to buy 16g tapers, stretch, and put in 16g jewelry. After they heal, you repeat with 14g tapers, and so on until you reach your desired size. Your age doesn’t matter. But it’s really important to know how to do this correctly to avoid damaging your eares irreperably. A lot of people try to cheap out and skip sizes and end up with scarred mishappen lobes and blow outs. So I will post a few links you should read to learn the proper way to stretch. Also a terminology guide and links for tapers. But, if you don’t have pierced ears yet, you would have to be 18 to have them pierced, unless you have parental consent. Piercers can pierce your ears with larger gauge needles initially, but I don’t recommend it. You should really go slow because it is considered a permanent body mod and you don’t want to jump in too fast.

  You don’t have to be any particular age because you can stretch your ears yourself. However, I think most teenagers wouldn’t have the patience to stretch their ears correctly. It takes a long time if you want to do it right.

  You can be whatever age to get gauges.

  you just have to buy the gauge and tapers and do it yourself.

  its a lot cheaper and doesnt hurt a bit.

  the only thing you have to get done is get your ears pierced..and if you alredy have that there is nothing else you have to have a piercer do..you strech them yourself..you buy the tapers and plugs and do it yourself.
