I’ve got a lifetime 71799 in ground basketball hoop that needs fixing. It was installed about a month ago and it has since bent and twisted almost 45 degrees to the left. I am hoping to replace the pole just by sliding the upper part off and slipping another hoop onto the base pole. However because the hoop is slightly bent forward it won’t even budge no matter how much pressure i try and apply.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get it off? I’d rather not have to dig up the entire base…
