Could be Middlesex, or London, depends where you live. I lived in Hillingdon and that was Middlesex. So, look on a map

As a current resident of London, England, you live in Greater London County. This replaced London County in 1965, which did not cover the whole metropolitan area of London, but rather, the area currently known as Inner London.

If you live in London, Ohio, USA, you are a resident of Madison County.

There are probably some other Londons, but I don’t know of them.

You live in Greater London although the royal mail refuses to accept that such a county exists and still lists the county as London (for the inner part of London), Middlesex, Hertfordshire etc, (for instance Romford is still listed as Romford, Essex despite being part of Greater London since its creation in 1965) it does the same with Greater Manchester although recognises other newer counties such as the West Midlands and Tyne & Wear. This was done by Royal Mail due to costs which can sometimes lead to the confusion over which county parts of London are actually in.

You live in Greater London, but now your address would be the borough of London you are in!
