The main reasons are for smartness and in some cases (marines) to enhance the fact that you are no longer an individual. However, having a crew cut is not always what the military want. For example, when I started my training in the early 90’s we had guys turn up on the first day with crew cuts. When we all went to the barber to get our hair cut, he just gave us a short back and sides. The other 2 guys with the crew cuts were a little miffed by this and it was explained that as long as your head gear covered the top and what was left showing was short and smart then that would do.

It all comes off buddy. Sorry but the girls will still dig you if your a royal marine. And do you really think your fit enough. You have to be able to do 60 push ups with elbows locked in, and 85 curl ups both in 2 minutes. You also have to be able to do 10 chin ups and be able to run 6 miles with each mile under 7 minutes. There is alot more too. Its tough dude. 1/5 make it. Id strongly advice pre-training. You probably have done that though so good luck man. The royal marines are the best in the world.

You will need to have a “marine” haircut which is very short and tidy. It’s also very attractive to the ladies, so just crumble and get it done!!!
If you need your hair to pull chicks I’d suggest improving your personality
Usually, that’s too long for me. I think it depends on the guy and also his face though. Certain guys may pull off long hair and other people can’t.
they shave it off to a 1 unless your completing officer training, dont worry after that you can grow it back to a respectfull llength
Yes that pretty hair you love so much would all go doooown the draaaain *mwuhahahaha*
