  There was a film some years ago called ‘The Seven Year Itch’, supposedly about the time it takes after marriage for the partners to consider being unfaithful.

  The Seven year itch…..used to mean the amount of time after marriage that people’s eyes begin to stray….I suppose slower than…..means the ten year itch.
