It happens to me a lot. I will just sit there and before I know it my eyes are stuck . It’s like I’m looking at nothing. For example, I am looking at a chair but when my eyes are stuck I don’t even notice that I am staring directly at the chair. And it’s so hard to look away! It’s kinda like when your zones out except you can talk , you just can’t move your eyes.

keep the image of object of your gratification handy.
when this happens again, place this image of object of your gratification at the diagonally opposite end.
give in the temptation to look that side.
gratify your senses fully on this object.
this will feel so good, that you may never want to stare at any other thing.
also by associating pleasure with dissociation of such fixture of eye at a place will subconsciously gear you up for dissociation with this behaviour in future.
i’m pretty sure if u inforce this even few a times, you will be out of your habbit.

Your eyes might be dry. Try to lubricate your eyes by using eye drops.
